Rifle Scopes Help, new to AR's want to mount scope????

LMT with flat top
Want to mount my Trijicon 3x9
Do I need anything more the HIGH Weaver ring?
None of my existing rings are even close?!?!?

Depends a lot on the stock you're using.
If you've got a carbine stock or you like having your nose clear up by the charge handle...you may want a cantilever optic mount.

If you've got an adjustable cheek piece like on the PRS, you may want the high or extra high rings.

May depend if you're shooting mostly prone or off hand.

1.25 or higher to centerline wold probably what you would want to use.

I have the flat MWS from LMT
In NY so my stock is pinned
I tried my med weaver rings and not even close
That canter livers mount from Trijicon is $250.00 Ouch
But the:
Gun
Scope
Ammo
Case
Why did I think rings would be any different
What is the reason for the canter lever mount??????????
I will only be shooting paper
Stand up and prone with this gun
May look in to a .308 for prone only
