Mounted up a scope today. Never had one this close before. So is there such a thing as too close? I know it will cause issues with covers. Also looking down the bore I cant get it anywhere close to zero looking about 50 yards away it seems to be 10"ish inches high and I'm all out of down adjustment. Will higher rings change anything or what's going on here how do I fix it??

Count how much total adjustment your turret has. Let's just eliminate the idea that your scope is defective and doesn't have as much as it's supposed to.
Huh, well I'm only getting 58 minutes of up before its stopping. Should be 100 total for this scope right.

It stops but I can turn it farther up (with alittle effort). Doesnt click, but then when I turn it back down it clicks. Wtf is going on.

The turret Is pretty much touching the body of the scope though?
And this is as far up as it goes first pic. Second pic is of another of the same scope I have. So something is going on?

Zerostop issues or possibly over tightened bolts on your rings?
Did you torque them down evenly and at what did you torque to?

Torq to about 18 inlbs. Also after krcu said pay attention dumbshit!!! I looked at the zero stop again. I had loosened the clutch before and it wouldn't move. Assumed it was all the way down. Well there was room left so I loosened again and I dont know what the hell was going on but it took some doing to get it to move up or down wtf?? (Had to put an Allen wrench in the middle turret to keep it from just turning the turret before it would start spinning). So I screwed it all the way off the top of the shaft to see if I could see what was wrong. Bad idea!!!! Cant get it back on now. Looks like the threads on the upper clutch are flattened? I just acquired the scope so I dont know if it was over tightened before or what. So guess it's getting sent in.

I sheared a screw in a zero-stop clutch on my old NXS. Sent it in to NF and they took care of me quickly, at no cost.
