How do I collect unemployment in Michigan? Trump stimulus?

My boss laid everyone off two weeks ago.

How do I go online and apply for unemployment and the trump money?

The governor shut everything down besides essential business.

I’ve been running errands for friends and family for the past week and doing gardening.

I haven't filed in 10 years but you can file online in most states. I've seen people posting lately that the system is so backed up that they have trouble getting the site to work in Illinois right now.

I tried to file in Michigan and have a small issue but can't go to unemployment office to take of it. The system crashed today from what I heard from some today. Ill have to try to be the first one on the phone tomorrow morning

Since you live in AA and all the students are back home you shouldn't have any issue finding a job, especially at Kroger or any other grocery store. Get yo ass in gear.

I’m helping out on my buddies farm this week.

Feel terrible asking for money though.

Got just enough cash to last a few months. Don’t have to pay rent. Staying with family because my lease got terminated due to Corona.

Courts are backed up so i’m letting it be and will get my attorney on it when this blows over.

Just out of curiosity, what field were you working in prior to being laid off?

It may help us give you some direction. My advice on the unemployment would be like anything else, just start researching it and stay after it. I haven't filed in over a decade so I'm not up to speed. But my guess is that there is an online system set up for this. With the influx of claims, you may want to get that ball rolling asap.

Here’s my issue. Capitalism. The market decides.
When uncle sambo has no problem taking hundreds of thousands of dollars from me every year in sales, income, property, et al taxes..... then says your business is closed(for the good of the people) and by the way you owe us 372$ more dollars. Then I say well uncle sambo if you are telling me you don’t want my money right now you need to ante up. Price of ownership.
