Try to ignore the guys handing out the "see tramp girl here" flyers. It disgusts me.

Practically lived on the strip courtesy of Uncle Sam. Always stayed in the Luxor or New York. Decent places. The strip is looong. Hard to really walk it and the casinos are a fair walk apart mostly. A lot to just see and take in. X2 on Ceasars buffet, terrific. Smith and Wollensky steakhouse in basement of New York serves amazing plates.
Catch a show or two. Not cheap for headliners but will definitely be a memorable experience. Don't gamble unless that's your thing. Those places don't survive by letting you leave with your money.
Fremont is definitely a go for one of your relax days. Have a yardlong margarita and stroll. Check out Dr. Naughty (hypnosis guy, does the audience) one night. It was something to watch a couple of random women (strangers... or not, draw your own conclusions) from the audience eat each other out and play with dildos on one another.

You’d better be suited here. $120/nt .gov rate for a 850 sq ft suite. No Ho’s and near Top Golf 🤣

To be honest as someone who has property in Las Vegas and has spent years here when in country, I’d avoid the strip and look more at something like the JW Marriott off strip in summerlin, or maybe even southpoint if you’re wanting a casino with shuttles to the strip and it’s offerings. If renting a car, I’d just Airbnb a house in either summerlin, green alley, or southern highlands. The strip has become a cesspool and now with how overpopulated the town is, it’s become a nightmare to navigate anything these days.

For reference I used to live in summerlin and now live in southern highlands. Summerlin got too Cali friendly and all the wrong people were moving there. Purposefully complaining because my sidearm in duty holster was visible. This town is not what it once was.

Been 3 times…
Rented a condo at the Palms the first time. Nice be a car is a must. Did Hoover Dam which was ok but there is a micro brewery in Boulder City that is awesome.
Stayed at Lake Las Vegas the second time (It sucked BTW!), hit the Strip Gun Club and did the full auto package and that was awesome! I need a SAW in my life! Ruth Chris, etc. it was alright.
3rd trip we got a VRBO with a really nice Cuban lady that pointed us to some amazing off the grid food places (Amazing Cuban fare and the best mojitos I have ever had!) and just kind of hung out, “cuddled” a lot, hit the shops at Forums and the Venetian (she’s into old books and art sooo…) and took her to shoot her first few rounds of skeet. One high point was finding an off an the radar off the strip steakhouse called the Cleaver. Fantastic porterhouse, happy hour prices on steaks, a great Somalier (He’s from Boston. I was giggling every time he ended a sentence with “Cheers!”), and a 1920s speakeasy decor. The bar gets a bit crowded but the dinners are segregated so the dull roar and the music aren’t obnoxious. I give it 5 stars and it will be my go to from here on out! Freemont was cool to but once was enough. I’m just not a city boy I suppose

Absolutely, yes. That would be a lot of fun. Whilst I generally drive 3 hours to the abandoned mine/ghost town Delamar, there are a few great locations off Sandy valley rd out to about 2km that would work wonderfully.

No more APEX if I remember correctly sadly.

I always go to Vegas when I visit the US. Even did the Elvis wedding at a howard Johnson hotel with my first wife. Stayed at the mgm grand, room stank of ciggys and a bit of a dump, trump hotel was fairly nice and got a decent upgrade to a suite for fuck all. Hard rock hotel was alright but couldnt get any coke from room service apparently they had all just been busted for that. The Aria has been the nicest so far, future ex-wife got us an upgrade to a massive corner suite there. Tried to do the pool thing at a resort just out of vegas last time but because it was June it was like a hot bath. Havent gambled on anything except the penny slot machines as I hate wasting money unless it's on guns.

Only show ive been to was fantasy ,I think, at the luxor, with the new future ex-wife, ended up in the front row which I thought was going to be in the splash zone however I got dragged on stage and dressed up like Elvis, otherwise it was pretty good the female MC was funny and all the girls were smoking hot. Still got that 2016 calendar somewhere. Did the machine gun thing at American shooters twice, they weren't as touristy as the other ranges there and even had an aussie guy working there that had the good sense to move to the land of the free, I have a video somewhere of my tiny first wife and an equally tiny female range officer helping her fire a 500 s&w. Fairly certain she didn't hit the target but she definitely hit the back of the range.

Never spent anything like a 1k a day though but I imagine it would be easy to do.

Fuck I miss going on holiday.
