Did you remove the additional brass insert for the powder drop? That provided brass insert is only necessary if using the stock or aftermarket shield.

I don’t believe it was included since I got the draft shield but I will check when I get home. Paul just gave me a couple of things to try when I get home as well.
Increasing the Trickler stabilization time to 2000 ms seems to have solved the problem. That was Paul’s suggestion.
I was getting a few bounce outs out of the top of the mount when the Lyman would catch on the 4350 (as it often does). Applied a little Okie engineering and cut off the bottom of an old funnel so that it sits flush with the powder tube. Problem solved. Working like a champ now.
Was talking to Paul today and he clarified some things on the electronics. By default, when A&D scale is selected, it has a tolerance of 0.02 because that's the resolution of the A&D scale.
But, Paul explained you can go to Settings>Base and you will see "End Tol" is set to the default scale resolution of 0.02. You can change thst to 0.
Now, when dumping a charge, it will never stop 0.02 below your set charge weight. Example, if your dumping 32.0gr... if the scale on its final move stops at 31.8gr, it will kick one more notch to get you to 32.0.
This works really well with the smaller powders like varget, 8208, etc. He said its the bigger powders or less consistent kernel sizes that changing End Tolerance doesnt work well with..
I was dropping 8208 today and I set my End tolerance to zero and it was dead on and every once in awhile you would get a 0.02 over so that's better than a 0.04 swing from default setting...
Just thought I would share that for anyone looking to tweak their settings..

I was doing the same thing until Paul told me to change the End Tolerance to 0.. its so fast too. It kicks that last notch practically before the final move was even done.
Depending on your level of OCD you can also run the A&D balances in grams, which nets you a little better resolution compared to grains (0.001 grams = 0.0154 grains.)
For years now I've ran my FX120i in grams and accept +/- 0.001g from the target weight.
I'm guessing Paul's controller will also function in grams, the AT V1 certainly had no issues.

Exactly, that's why I said it depends on your level of OCD. For maximum OCD you need a sartorius that reads down to 0.0001 grams, and cut kernels as necessary, even if you can't see that on the chronograph or target.
Running in grams and accepting +/- 0.001 from the target weight just seemed to be an easy, low effort way to make things a little bit better, at least on paper.
I previously tried this with H4350. It led to several .04 overthrows. Still the same variance as the standard setting, but at least they are all in one direction as long as you are OK being on the high side of your load.
The new setup is slick. Gonna try to clean up the cable management though.
Just got mine yesterday. I guess I got the newer version without the stand, and I don’t think it’s going to work with my V2 powder throw, at least not without me fabricating some sort of adapter. I wish they’d asked what I wanted.
It’s advertised as working with V2. I have the cone shaped adapter, but it won’t readily connect to the thrower. I’ve sent a message through the website.
My mount didn’t ship with either the V2 or V3 adapter, but Paul knew I wasn’t going to be using either of them, so I assume he just didn’t send them knowing I didn’t need them. I’d suggest if anyone is ordering the new mount just make sure Paul knows which powder thrower you are going to using.
I will have a spare stand when my carbon fiber mount comes in.....if you don't get it worked out pay whatever shipping is and I'll send it to you.

Paul’s customer service is amazing. He called me earlier this week after 10PM his time to help me sort out an issue I was having and then he followed up the next day to make sure it was fixed. I am 100% certain that whatever is delaying the release of the bulk dropper is not anything within his control or we would already have them in our hot little hands.
Got the new electronics along with some of the other new items and they are very impressive to say the least. Getting 5-6 second drops with no overthrows. Where do you get the app? I understand it’s still in beta on the TestFlight app and Paul said the invite to the app was sent, but I didn’t receive anything in my email. Somewhere else I should be looking?

How much does it cost to upgrade a V3 with the trickler, electronics and air shield. Everything but the dropper I guess.
