Just had a caravan of 20 or so cars, all done up with window paint and balloons and shit do a slow 5mph creep through my neighborhood while honking their horns.

Thinking this was the 5th Seal of the Poors being broken, I quickly threw on my armor, helmet and grabbed a bag of magazines so I could jump on my tactical pink inflatable flamingo in the pool and get ready for the invasion.

My neighbor heard something about it being teachers doing this as a 'morale' thing?

I gotta tell you, if I was a kid, and school let out in March, the last thing I need is teachers driving around my house honking at me. But then again, maybe this is somewhat of an expert troll move? If so, is it bad that my initial reaction was that I now needed to round all the neighborhod kids up and show them how to plan an ambush on the convoy of minivans the next time?

    Yes it is.

We had a firetruck come through our neighborhood with a dude dressed up in a bunny suit on top. He went to a house where it was a child's birthday apparently. The local fire department is going to homes where kids cannot have birthday parties for obvious reasons. Interesting times we're living in.

Our kids haven't been out of school. My wife says that the schools sent home hand held computers, one for each family, for students to continue their studies online. Our kids aren't getting a pass.

    Then, you see a story like this;

Math teacher shows up at student's front porch to give her a one-on-one lesson while social distancing

Here in AZ these jackass teachers are having “Parades” for the kids. They email asking for your address. I didn’t reply.

How did the poors get through the gates of your mansion? Better beef up that perimeter.

@TheGerman why are you so hard on folks they just want to make others feel better??? Still waiting on my loan request. Please text me.

If anything, I always think TheGerman's quotes are good for some comic relief, while pointing out some obvious things in our society. Hell, my wife was almost part of one of those parades, (she is a teacher) and while half of me thought it was a good idea, the other half was thinking that it was sort of dumb. Then again, I really never liked school all that much when I was growing up and never had one of those "lean on me" movie type teachers. I make fun of all sorts of shit, apparently TheGerman likes to make fun of people with a median income less than 500k, and now, teachers. Oh yeah, and fat people who shop at WalMart. Pretty low hanging fruit there, though...

We have numerous rotating shift workers at the mines and oil refineries. If they try a honking parade down the road here they better be prepared to take fire from a bunch of tired assholes who have to be back in boots by dinner time for another 12 hour shift.

    Is that an SCR Reticle?
Even the math teacher knows Mils is better than MOA.

    We need more of this...

Less of the 'driving around in rainbow caravans' shouting 'look at me... I need attention.' Maybe I can get on social media! Pay Attention to MEEEE!

Above... that is a teacher. The rest... histrionic personality disorder idiots.

And in true "Gestapo" style, our idiot governor has set up a "call the AG Line" in order to report your neighbors and others for being 'out' in the quarantine.

Since the police are leaving people be (and most folks are just going out for essentials... using common sense) the governor has decided to galvanize an army of Mrs. Kravitz NKVD wanna-be's who are now going to be on the phone 24x7 and reporting people to the AG for proscution.

Soooo.... we have Xi's China going on? Hoenecker's DDR? Stalin's USSR?

Oh and where is the ACLU on all of this? They should be filing writs faster than Jacoby and Myers. But not a peep. Because they are only interested in the "Civil Rights" that support their socialism.

Here is the announcement from a local PD:

The XXXXXX Police Department has been getting numerous calls about the Governor's Stay at Home Order and whether people should be, or are allowed to be out working. The Department of Public Safety and the VT Attorney Generals office have a web portal for reporting potential violations and for any questions you may have. The Attorney General's Office will be handling violations.
    https://dps.vermont.gov/

You have a selection in the middle of page the reporting page says: Executive Order Reporting tool.
