Get charged with a crime and take evidence to the DA proving beyond any doubt of your innocence. What would you expect the DA to do? In reality you'll probably get offered a plea to lesser charges. It's a political position that has nothing to do with justice.

Her mandate is basically illegals can not be charged with crimes.

She will drop charges on any illegal if it looks like the court matter will result in ICE involvement.

That listt of crimes she will not charge for does not apply to citizens.

I find it pretty bold she is putting this in writing and stating it publicly.

That great defender of civil rights , the ACLU, agrees with her unequal justice under the law position.

She is also for a "quota" for convictions.

If stats show one "class" of person being convicted of crimes more than another she thinks the playing field should be leveled out so all "classes" of people are represented equally.

This is nuts.

It says they will factor in their illegal status (as a plus) when considering crimes, and if prosecution of the crime could wind up with deportation, then they don't do it.
