Anyone else concerned with the sudden open lines between North and South Korea for the (apparent) sake of the upcoming winter Olympic games?
I've been listening to the information coming through NPR and although I have no specific thing to point to as a "smoking gun" for my skepticism, I can't help but feel there is some nefarious ulterior motives at work here. Two years with no contact and now, months before the Olympics (and on the heels of a bit of Nuclear testing) lines are now open. The North apparently being very civil and accommodating.
Well, one thing that strike me as odd anyway is the request for a group of fans, which may, or may not, include dignitaries. There is a (expected) group of "cheerleaders" in addition to the athletes themselves.
Anyone else get "a bad feeling bout this" as I do? Any further "conspiracy theories" to throw around on this?
