This movie is well written, acted, directed, researched, etc, but it is a <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="color: #FF0000">CHICK FLICK</span></span>.

No real man can sit through this movie without suffering.

I can watch this movie for about as long as I can hold my breath.

If you have to sit through this movie with your woman, she had better make it up to you with more than good cooking.

Watched it and LMAO through the whole thing, cracked up so bad I had to pause it at one point... I grew up watching Julia Child's cooking shows and I found that part of the movie the best.

Re: "Julia and Julia"

Actually saw this last night with wife & daughter. Streep was very good. Too bad the movie wasn't ENTIRELY about Julia and what she did with her life.

Inspired me to cook spaghetti from scratch tonite, even blanching the tomatoes. No, I did not crush garlic cloves with a spoon the way I learned to from a guy who had been a cook in the Italian Army, but it was good nonetheless. Even had homemade garlic rolls and breadsticks.

Anyone who can help another person to cook better is a saint in my book...
