I went to checkout and they are pretty much the same price, from the kestrel site. and $50 taxes plus $10 shipping kinda make everything even. at this point amazon is the better vendor.

You have to be careful with that DVOR. Sometimes it seems like a huge discount but usually not so much.

That is actually higher than my price. You really should be buying from someone you can talk to about these. That one your referencing is the Kestrel 5700 Elite with Applied Ballistics (no LiNK). Normal price on that is $599. I strongly recommend you buy one with LiNK otherwise updating firmware, or working with any of the tons of newly integrated devices like SIG, Leica etc won't work...

Guys like myself and most of the retailers here are giving Snipers Hide guys the best deals we can, and places like EBAY, Amazon and Devor arent going to give you a better price - and certainly won't take the time to make sure the purchase you make is going to do a good job for the type of shooting you are doing.

I'm all about supporting the vendors here on snipers hide and I know how helpful everyone is around here so I don't want to come off like I'm arguing with anyone. Just trying to spread a deal when I see one.

If you buy a 5700 you can get the firmware upgrade later to bring it to the Elite. Kestrel sells the upgrade direct. I opted for the 5700 last year and I link it to Strelok Pro.
