The conversation got around to best guess on an Oct 7th style event here and tango dress & tactics came up. So what would you do if you seen a group or 2-3 folks in US military, LE, or security rags shooting people? How would you ID real from fake in a large venue? In small towns we guessed most who would standup & fight, would most likely know who is real vs not. However in a strange area, or big city how would you differentiate? Or would you just lay low while innocents, were getting murdered?

I'd suggest a lot would depend on the exact location and circumstances.
Especially if you are in the areas where Uniform Hangers would be more interested in dealing with anyone protecting the innocent.
Kind of like in Israel not long ago, some guy stopped a terrorist attack and the army guys showed up and just murdered him in cold blood (He was unarmed on his knees with his hands in the air) and pretty much got away with it.

Especially if you are in the areas where Uniform Hangers would be more interested in dealing with anyone protecting the innocent.

Supposed good guy or not if I'm getting shot at it matters little who they are, they better connect first or it will be my turn. After its over, if it still has to be court room sorted at least I get to tell my side of the equation, vs being placed on the coroners conveyance.
While gaming it to ground, many interesting scenarios and twists of same, were floated,... a lot to think about for sure.
