Karsten cheek rest on a thumbhole

I've been looking around for an adjustable cheek piece for one of my rifles and the karsten cheek piece from stockys looks like it would be perfect. (found here: Karsten Adjustable Cheekrest) The only issue is that my stock is a Boyd's laminate thumbhole and I'm not 100% sure that the karsten would install properly, easily, or at all for that matter. Does anyone have experience that would be willing to share? Or alternatives that will give me the same adjustability? I know a stock pack with cut pieces or mouse pad or denser foam would work as well, but I think I'm looking more toward something like the Karsten. Thanks in advance!
