KC area

Good morning!

Currently live outside of KC (Lenexa). Spent considerable time many years ago behind a M21 system, but went to pistol shooting for fun. Now I shoot a bit of pistol, sporting clays, and have really gotten the bug to do some long range stuff.

My how the gear has changed since the time I have been gone!

Looking forward to a steep learning curve

Very nice! What did you end up getting? I’m a little down the road in the Columbia area. We will have to get a good MO precision shoot together this spring.

I picked up a used Seekins. Would really like to check out the Beraga's.

One of these days I want to get over to GA precision and check them out since they are here local.

Can you let me know how the seekins shoots? Caliber? I’m here in MO and if you ever get out to shoot any of the local long range Comps, is like to take a look at it before ordering one.

I'm north of KC, about 30 mins. Anyone here a member of Vaper Trail? I just joined, but haven't been up there yet. Would love to get together on a longer range sometime with any of you locals. GAP is about 15 mins from my house, and they are great guys to deal with. So is Manners and Badger Ord. I don't really know the Badger people, but I can't say enough good things about the folks at Manners, from the top down.

I took the Seekins out the other day just horsing around. Looks like it has some true potential even with factory ammo.

I would love to get over to GAP and meet some folks and look around. Everything that I have seen come from them looked fabulous.

Since you also said handgun shooter, come see us at the IDPA club off SM Pkwy near Metcalf: http://kcshootingmasters.com/ (well, contact us first for orientation I guess).

I rarely get past 300 (MCRC) but hope in a week to borrow the land where I'll be in OK to get to 1,000... Annoying with all this land and not many people we don't have long ranges near the city.

I also have promised myself to get to a match at Spearpoint Ranch this year, but not yet. Never been to Vapor Trail and frankly, cannot find an address or otherwise truly understand if you can just show up for open shoots some days or what. But they do have recipes on the website.

GA Precision is indeed awesome, had them do some work, but not a storefront at all sadly so hard to just pop by and see their stuff.
