Here's another article about the ANTIFA invasion of the Lone Star State. Although I think it's a foolish step on the part of the terrorist organization to announce their intentions we should not underestimate them.
I would also expect this Texas invasion to be a diversion. They could be saying they are going to create havoc in one area of the country but secretly planning mayhem in another part of Texas or another Red state. Keep in mind that the purpose of a terrorist organization is to show their enemy they aren't even safe in their own bed room.
ANTIFA needs a morale boost within their ranks. Trump and Texas Senator Ted Cruz have asked for ANTIFA to be declared a terrorist organization. Cruz was the first and the ANTIFA message is very clear.
By announcing a strike at Texas they are sending a message to Texans. The message is
don't elect people like Cruz or you will regret it. Arguably that sounds pretty stupid on the face of it. However, we should put ourselves in the shoes of the enemy in order to understand his MOA and stratagem in order to defeat him.
In the mind of the enemy, they believe they are thinking logically. That's okay by me as it makes them more prone to screw things up.
Also keep in mind, that if ANTIFA is declared a terrorist organization that kicks in all sorts of laws. That would mean increased surveillance, government infiltration, search warrants, injunctions, asset seizures and arrests.
Those measures will cripple them. In their mind, what Senator Cruz and President Trump said was a formal declaration of war. So they MUST do something.
So I'll say it again; ANTIFA is either announcing their intentions to send a message to Cruz supporters and/or creating a diversion to attack another target with a bigger bang.
With that in mind, they may attack another target in Texas to accomplish both goals: creating havoc in another area without opposition and cause Senator Cruz some political damage.
Even though I believe this is their plan I think it will fail on a two points.
- If they were to succeed in the diversion causing significant damage to another target and loss of life that will do nothing but piss off some very well armed Texans, not to mention other patriotic Americans. Even if El Paso is still the intended target it will still piss of plenty of Texans and fellow patriots.
- If their intent is to send a message to Cruz supporters and weaken him politically, it would do nothing but strengthen him. If they were to succeed either in El Paso or another area of Texas or another state it would make Senator Cruz and President Trump look like prophets. They could, rightfully, say
"see, we told you so!" I will venture to make another prediction. Don't expect them to travel to Texas in a large caravan. It would be too easy for them to be intercepted and allow
their enemy time to prepare or stage an ambush well away from the target. Anonymity, to them, is their strength. So they will travel cross country like the Griswolds on vacation then don their masks just outside the target area.
Expect more covert operating methods from this group.
