I've shot a lot of varmints with the .223 V-max rounds and seen that type of damage. I've also shot quite a few with the .30 cal 168 SMK and seen similar damage depending on the range and where the animal was it. I have only used the FMJs for targets but no varmints. So for those who've witnessed it, would an FMJ tear off that much meat?
