Looking for a particular type of rifle case...

Hi guys, I was watching Magpul Dynamic's Art of the Tactical Carbine and Chris Costa was talking about cases to store and transport rifles. He never mentioned the name or manufactuerer of the case, I was wondering if you all could help.

Double rifle soft case, he used it to store 2 AR-15's. Standard soft double rifle case, but it also came with an empty hard case that you can fit the soft case into for airport travel. It had the Magpul logo on it but I couldn't find it anywhere on their site. It's maybe not be long enough for my AICS Remington 700 but does someone have at least a name or type of case this is?

Edit: found a screenshot. It's the Harddigg Mobile Armory FieldPak, and it's only available for 36" or smaller rifles...

so...this brings me to, is there a hard case out there that can house a aics 700 and an AR 15 with a scope?

Re: Looking for a particular type of rifle case...

why not just get an empty storm case and putting a double rifle case in it? That's my plan!

Wrong! The FieldPak cases are available in multiple sizes, including sizes that will fit a full-size bolt action rifle system. See here for more info:

Also, the same basic function can be had with just adding a drag bag (or double rifle case, or similar soft cases) to a hard case shell. Several folks here and elsewhere used the drag bag/hard case combo and it works well...just be sure you get cases that match up as close as possible in size for the best fitment.

Thanks, ORD. I did not know that they had different sizes available. I will also look into an empty case + drag bag. Thanks guys.

Re: Looking for a particular type of rifle case...

Check out eberlestock.com. They have a soft/hard case combo you may want to research.

Re: Looking for a particular type of rifle case...

Another vote for the Eberlestock soft drag bag and optional Storm hard case combo. It will hold up to a 50" rifle.

Yes the one one Chris Costa talks about in the carbine video is the MobileArmory but since they were bought by Pelican the are very hard to find and very expensive. It's seems Pelican is only interested in selling them to Gov/Mil/LE.
