I was in Cabela's today and saw this rifle on the rack. It is a Long action Sako A7 in 300WM. Stock has a wide forend, raised cheekpiece and a very wide barrel channel. Barrel was 26", fluted and may have been Teflon coated. The problem is, that's all I can find out. I called Beretta and they have no specs on the rifle other than it was imported as a Cabela's exclusive. Cabela's had no information. The manual in the box was for a standard A7.

I'm trying to find out what material the barrel is made of and what the coating is, rate of twist, stock type. Obviously, physical specs would be nice, but can be obtained on site.

Has anyone purchased one of these or been able to find the specs?

Thanks,
Mike

Found this on Cabela's site:

The Sako A7 bolt-action rifle boasts incredible out-of-the-box accuracy with a price tag that will appeal to the rifle hunter. Now Sako is teaming up with David Morris of Bucks of Tecomate to offer whitetail hunters a bang for their buck. The A7 features the Bell and Carlson Medalist™ composite stock, which combines Bell and Carlson’s proprietary stock, an integral aluminum bedding system and machined aircraft-grade aluminum. Sako’s legendary flat-bottom receiver offers a stable shooting platform for even more accuracy. The single-stage trigger adjusts from 2 lbs. to 4 lbs. The two-position safety has a separate bolt-release button. Detachable magazine with steel feed lips.

I would assume the twist would be the same as the standard Sako/Tikka twists for a caliber.

It's definitely not the Tecomate. I think the LRH thread you linked to is the one. Now, to find some specs.
