LWRC REPR SIDE CHARGING HANDLE MOD FOR FOLDER

Question for anyone that has the handle removed from the rest of the rifle. How far does the lug protrude from the bottom/back of the handle?

waiting patiently for that. Started taking working on these at priority. Just every once in a while there are things I have to get donuch as say cut 2' tall grass in the yard.

I looked through my sizable Ldub parts bin to no avail. I thought I had a spare but I must have decided that I didn't think it was a part that would break. Never fear -- I'll just take the assembly off of one of my uppers. I'll try to get it off to you on Thursday.

all blanks brough to size, holes and lightening cut coming up next. problem is this though only recvd funds for 14 pcs so far. First come first served.

Now that I got Mooncake's Handle looks like all the dimensions were dead on except for the length of the lug. Looks like the longer lugs I had to make for the XCR's will not be long enough for the REPR. No biggie as the lug is one easy part for me to make.

slides finished. Up next lugs. after that have to verify that the knobs are cut to the right length so they fold nicely in place. finally anodizing and a little Parkerizing.

pic of one with. Knob has noit been cut to fit rails and that is not the right lugs. Of course not anodized or parked yet either.

Guys begging and pleading, please keep me in mind for more stuff like this. I can use the $$. I just decimated my bandsaw dragging it in the dirt so I can reach a power cord so I can finish sawing the last few lugs for the CH's. Moving to unfinished new workshop is a $!tch especially when the power cord nearby is not providing reliable/stable power.

some shop porn on hwo the knobs were being made a long time ago

awaiting semi finished one to arrive at Mooncake's so we can Skype and discuss how much of the knob to trim off on these so I can take that step on all of them. See the 3rd pictrure down on post 123 that shows what the knosb are trimmed for a Metric FAL and one of them untrimmed is for an Inch FAL. I am certain that on the REPR that distance is different. After that I need to parkerize and anodize the parts. I had the lugs finished yesterday. Have the springs, have the pivots and plungers in stock, just need to park the lugs, trim and park the knobs and anodize the slides. At the latest I am hoping mid next week will ship.

Started anodizing today. Would laso like to wait for some cerakote to arrive today so I can have the parkerized handle and anodized slide be the same matte black color. Besides two scratch proof coatings are better than one. Still waiting for dims on how much to cut knobs.

I got it back Yesterday. plan on cutting all the knobs, parking and painting On Sunday. Problem is I doubt I can get it all done on Sunday. Slightly possible, but who wants a rush job?

OK, got them all painted and assembled. I'd like to give them one final check before wrapping and shipping them.

Mooncake or anyone else. I am interested in one of these if anyone has an extra. Sorry just came across this or I would have got in on the original order.

Got mine today — they look great! I didn’t have a chance to install one tonight but maybe I will tomorrow.

Thanks for making it happen, mtnman!

Oh, and the one that I thought my buddy wouldn’t want because he’s selling his REPR — sorry to the guys looking for one but he wants it after all.
