I am new here, but at 57yo, not so new in general. I only have 99 more post before I can post in the WTB, so:

Anybody know where to locate a M16 Pencil barrel vise block. I want one that will work correctly, not one of the "does every size, really" models.

I've searched the net but only found the one Brownells sells, and it looks to fit the above "everything" category. Most others seem to fit the M4 or .750" contours.

i know sometimes a USGI one pops up once in a while, but I'm not so sure I'll live long enough to grab one of those :>)

Get a couple of blocks of oak, clamp them together and drill whatever size hole you want.
