Hunting & Fishing Mount, potential mounts

Got this guy back from the taxi. "Aggressive Posture" my Lab hates it and barks at it constantly........

actually I could have killed the porcupine he was on the car port driving my dog nutz, but they are just too cool look'n
so I broom'd him out......

The Axis, I'm still debating as I saw one last year that was same size but 5-7" wider and better fronts.

should be starting as they are starting to rub velvet off so we'll see

That's the first Texas Porcupine that I've ever seen with all the quills still.

That Axis is pretty nice, too, as are those mounts.

What county are you hunting in.

I have never seen a porcupine in Texas and I have hunted here all my life. It would have been hard to let that one walk.

This one was the second one I seen on the ranch, the first was a juvinile hidding in a cave.

that is an african porcupine too. i have one mounted that i shot in africa and i also have a north american porcupine mounted.
