Night Vision Mounting D790 on a dovetail AI.

Gents, got a filmless D790 in a trade on this site.

First off, the image is absolutely incredible. It's somehow clearer than my WP filmless 'supertube' although I don't know the specs specifically. I've mounted it on a few rifles for fun but I'd like to try it on my AW - problem is, it has the AI dovetail. I called Mile High to see if they had a dovetail-to-pic adaptor, they said they didn't so I think I'm boned.

Anyone have any ideas?

Agree with your assessment of the D790's. Many folks just don't get how clear the image really are compared to a thermal unit. (Yeppers understand the advantages of thermal)...PID is absolutely amazing on many objects a long way out there with the glass used on the 790, they rival the mainstay Raptors from back in the day.

To answer you question, give Ned over at Mounting Solutions Plus a call. My guess they will have what you need. Good luck and good shooting with the blaster at that 790!

I'm 99% sure your dovetail is 11mm. There's a fair amount of adapters available.
