This was my first attempt at crowning a barrel. This was a DW Wraith 10mm with a threaded barrel. Its the hardest material I have ever tried to cut. I practiced on a couple old Kimber barrels that I had in the tool box first. This DW barrel ruined my carbide blade. I wanted a complete flush cut but settled on the profile shown since it was such a pain. Then put an 11° crown on it using the "Military Crown Kit" from Dave Munson.

That looks great. Flush with the bushing is really tough to do by hand. This looks better than any I've done.
