I'm trying to figure out the Ballistic AE app. When I'm on the Trajectory screen and enter a current condition such as elevation or a wind direction then switch to the HUD screen, the inputs from the trajectory screen don't transfer over to the HUD display. I have to enter the current conditions twice (once on the trajectory screen and once on the HUD screen) if I want to look at both the trajectory table and the HUD. Is this normal? so I have a setting wrong? Thanks in advance.

FWIW, applied ballistics has you enter environment then choose either table or HUD. I had a couple of other apps that worked more like you described which data was entered in the mode you wanted (had to enter each time you switch views.)

Sounds like a program design issue not a bug. But I'd reach out to Ballistics AE to confirm either way.

When you’re done with your trajectory screen calculation, add it to favorites. After that, you can open the app, and go directly to HUD, select the appropriate ballistic profile, input current conditions and rock on.

Thank you to everyone. Hondo-I know how to save the profiles- it's just the different current conditions that I wondered about. It just seems odd that each time you switch temp or altitude (current conditions), you need to enter that info twice if you want to use both the HUD and trajectory table. Would think those would be tied together but maybe there is a good reason for not being that way.
