New Kestrel Upgrade Wipes the Gun Profiles on your Phone App

    It happened last time and I was screwed, so this time I was ready for it.

    Ref: Upgrade to Version Build 237 and Database 115500

    Step 1 ... Make sure everything is good on the old firmware, and synch all of your Gun Profiles so that Phone and Kestrel are identical.
    Step 2 ... Exit Phone App and restart.
    Step 3 ... When prompted, start the upgrade.
    Step 4 ... When complete, your Phone App Gun Profiles will have disappeared.
    Step 5 ... Restart the Kestrel App and reconnect.
    Step 6 ... In the Gun Profile Management screen, select "Get Profiles".

    At that point, the Phone App will update with the profiles that you verified in Step 1, and your Kestrel and Phone App will be resynchronized.

    Now the ability to solve this, should not absolve the software developers and QA teams at Kestrel from fixing this TOTALLY BONE HEAD latent defect. WTF kind of morons build and distribute an upgrade process that wipes out all the existing data?

    C'MON MAN ... stop being morons !!!

    Fix this before the next upgrade.
