Hi,newb here but not to shooting.I recently aquired a 1968 model70 in .308w.It doesn`t say featherweight on the barrel so I assume it is sporter weight?
It seems to shoot very well,I have shot a few 3\4" groups with 165 gr handloads.500 yards is all the further i,ve shot it,been working too much to get to the desert.
Anyhow,thought i`d say hi and here is a bad pic of my rifle.I put a Burris E1fullfield scope on it in a set of Weaver quad rings.
