I was also thinking if some sort of pic rail lever device could be mounted between the bipod and the stock depolying the legs in one action, it would shush a lot of the Harris haters with their paracord loops.

I think the S is for Sling. I can think of several ways that some kind of device could be used to better stabilize the rifle in conjunction with the sling.
I myself have been looking into slings so I hope it is.

I think it's going to be a mono-pod fore-end vertical grip type device.
I always wanted one of those BT41 letter openers....If it was half the going price I'd probably have one.... Just can't bring myself to spend $275 for a letter opener.. Even as cool as it is... What to you say Kasey.... Have any BT41's that need to be clearance out?
