NEw Project DTA in 12.7 X 48

Im sitting in Afghanistan for the next 6 months and decided to have my DTA SRS setup for 12.7 X 48. Apparently it seems there is little info, though I have seen some postings where some people have converted their DTA SRS's into either 510 Whisper or 12.7 X 48. I guess the later is the non propritary version. Ethan at DTA gave me a list of possible manufacturers and so the journey begins.
So far just emailing around is a minor pain in the A$$, getting blown off or vague answers. But if its a success then let this be a guide for others.

Call/email Mark Gordon at Short Action Customs. I know that he's been doing a lot of DTA work recently and he's not afraid to order a new reamer and work on out of the box projects.

You can build any caliber as long as it it a std, mag ,or lapua bolt face. Jon Beanland can chamber for you.
