Rifle Scopes New Trijicon SRS

Re: New Trijicon SRS

Seems like a pretty nice sight, I would like to see it next to the Eotech, Aimpoint T1, and Comp M. All a little different, but in the same category of close in sights. I like the wide viewing area and daylight brightness without a battery.

Article says less than $1000, supposedly somewhere around the CompM4 price

Re: New Trijicon SRS

Spec sheet says 3 years continuous operation at level 7 of 10 illum settings on supplied lithium AA battery. The solar panel can extend this somewhat if the sight is used outdoors on a regular basis.

It's also waterproof to 166' (50m), and the Bobro mount is a smart addition. I'd love to see how the dot looks through an Aimpoint 3x magnifier.

Re: New Trijicon SRS

First impressions: appears to be more expensive than an Aimpoint M4, 1 oz heavier, less battery life. Was hoping for a variable AccuCOG type optic....
