When the day is not going as planned, when you cannot reach through a phone to grab someone's neck... then the brown truck shows up with some boxes and the dogs erupt in a roar but you can't hit the mute button in time to avoid a conference call interruption... and you notice that one of those boxes has a return address of Elk Grove CA... as I tore apart the packing tape I could literally feel my blood pressure deflating... and the world is suddenly a better place. Thank you, Richard. It took a couple of phone calls to finally land on this scope, and now that I have it hand I can't believe there was ever a question.

No matter how the rest of the day goes, all is well.

ATACR HD glass is just fantastic. NF knobs are just.... NF. Which are great.

After I get some rings I'll post up the next installment of optical therapy.

This scope is going on my beloved Accurate Ordnance 300 Win Mag, which in fact is a trillion watt laser beam disguised as a rifle (those guys are really clever). This rifle has worn a few NF scopes, the most recent of which was stolen by someone who can barely afford graduate school tuition and three squares a day. He'll pay me back some years forward when I need a ride to be fitted for a walker, so I let it go. For rings I am thinking of some ARC's, which I have never seen in person but Ted's reputation is such that I don't feel the need to.

Though it is several months away I have timed my visit to Saskatchewan to coincide with deer season. I suppose this is the beginning of what may be called my Saskatoon configuration.

I'm glad you found it within yourself to forgive and move on, I couldn't have done the same and probably wouldn't even be able to use the rifle now, from behind bars anyway.. Nice stick, you won't be disappointed with ARC M10 rings, they are my personal favorite....
