I will be selling my house in NH and renting an apartment there for seven months each year, the other months I will be living at my beach house in MA.
Does anyone see a legal problem with leaving my safe containing NFA items in a storage locker those other months?
Thanks.

Re: Part time residency question

Thanks, I'm assuming this is true because the owner of the storage locker business wouldn't have `constructive possession', as long as the combination of the locked safe is unknown.

In this scenario constructive possession does not exist.

He isn't building anything.

He wouldn't have "illegal possession" is what I am sure you meant.

There are a lot of guys especially in military towns that have storage lockers for their weapons they can't have on base.

You can have MG's in MA though so if you have a MG you can apply to take it with you to the beach house!
