Before I start monkeying with this setup, does anyone have a tutorial on PMCSing the Lyman Alaskan (no prefix serial (786,xxx)on a Pachmayr flip-over mount?
Any ideas on how old it is?
Elevation and windage seem stiff, eyepiece adjustment seems frozen.
The Pachmayr mount has a knurled collar marked <down arrow> OFF. Pretty obvious what that does, but the collar looks like it's retained with a spring steel plate and two screws.
I did a search and found nothing relevant.
