I heard about this on the radio this morning…makes me very sad. How is this different from the Taliban and what they did with those archaic Buddha carvings?

Fucking troglodytes…the glee with which they performed this heinous act (otherwise why film it?) tells you everything you need toknow about them. They’ll memory hole you just as fast as they did a statue.

Getting angrier the more, and the longer I think about it. Fuckers.

How in the hell did those pricks get custody of the statue in the first place?

I thought it was indeed removed but was still the property of the city/country/state? They alone could have had it destroyed/stored or whatever.
If this is correct, the fucking museum should never have been able to access it to destroy it.

Their local citizenry and officials just sit on their hands while the kids look around thinking this is all normal. FFS!
