So the Bush judges are the good guys? Interesting.
IMO, Gorsuch and ACB are solid. Kavanaugh is much less so. The only place anybody faults Gorsuch is on the meaning of sex case, which was debatable, and both, I suppose, on not hearing Texas, which was a total pig in the first place. Even Thomas and Alito only thought it should be heard based on a strong belief they have on original jurisdiction.
The second part of your statement belies the first, btw. If Trumps judges are no better than the liberals, then why would the liberals care so much?
It is interesting....a time of transition and a testing of how fast will we rush to the cliff.
The world is no longer BC/AD, Its not even BCE/CE.
Its pre 9/11 - post 9/11.
Id give both nuts to freeze the world on 9/10/2001.
Everything since than was an incremental outrage.
Since the initiators of all that came after are starting to realize their recall to Hell fast approaches and that Trump had to delay their plans by 4 years the need for speed has been even more accelerated.
This was supposed to be done with in 2017.
They fear that any more delay will allow too many to smell the BS and the time is now. They realize the fragility of their position and that is why troops still ring DC.
I bet Alito and Thomas get weekly if not daily invites for bird hunting in a Texas ranch.
The last obstacle will be our collective reaction when this starts.....
“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956
The time to decide seems to be fast approaching........Who wants to be Solzhenitsyn or Niemoller?
