Just got this rifle a few days ago and want to do my own reloading. Just wondering if there is anyone that has one of these and what load you would recommend for it. Just getting into reloading and am curious as to what you would recommend. Thanks.

Re: Recommended load for Savage 10 FCP-SR

Start at the recommended minimum and load in .5 grain increments up to the max charge. Seat them at 2.81 or magazine length. Fire them in order at 300 yards on paper. Watch for signs of pressure and note which loads form a group naturally. That's the ladder test. Zero in on the accuracy node with smaller increments of powder, such as .2 grains.

I got lucky and another rifle's load shoots .5 moa or better out of my rem 700P.
