Rifle Scopes ring?

sure all rings arent created equal.

im in process of new build and find myself questioning the necessity of high dollar rings.

i haven't heard about ring failure

i have BO max 50's now sure it over kill on .308 but i got them cheap

i'm building a.223 im not a professional. so why not the swfa ss rings for $50 ish or other lesser priced rings.

are the ss rings decent?
need to lap?

comments advice welcome

i'd rather spend the money on primers pills and powder
