So I don't know if anyone cares but in the effort to squeeze some extra range out of my Sako I have modified my Sako optilock bases to give me 15MOA taper ( I'm pretty sure such bases cannot be bought). The modification was as simple as grinding 0.43mm off the front base with a surface grinder, The resulting misalignment in ring height is easily taken up by the spherical optilock bearings.
