This is my old Savage 10 pre accutrigger. circa 1997. i have been shooting it with a Springfield 7x40 also about 1997. Hitting 1000 is possible just not as repeatable as i would like.
the picture with the rifle in the tall grass is from about 4 or 5 feet away. i didnt try to camoflauge it in there, i just set it straight down. the colors work OK with this Colorado landscape. i do have a problem with painting my rifles. everything actually. i have painted all my harleys, alot of my tac rifles, trucks, etc. I admit it i have a problem.
