Lynch's 67 yard TD run was one of the best I've ever seen. 7 different Saints had their hands on him and couldn't get him down. Hasselbeck played off his ass. Great game, and I hope the playoffs continue to be this exciting.

feel for you guys, one of the biggest upsets in NFL history me thinks. the bar I was in absolutely exploded during that run. and major props to hasselbeck, he doesnt even have his cast off yet.

Either way, a lot of people around here was doggin hasselbeck because of a ruff year, the team had more new players than any other team in the nfl. so to get in the playoffs and win against the superbowl champs pretty good. A fun game to watch.

It'd be good if they actually WON a superbowl though!
I remember the old school days of Jim Zorn, Steve Rabel, Steve Largeant, Tuiassasopo - they did some wild stuff.
That was a damn good run though!

Great run by Lynch, excellent game by Hasselbeck (who wasn't even supposed to play), inspired defensive energy, Pete Carrol has that team ready to go every week.
Considering they were projected for about 4 wins at the start of the year I'd say they had a great year.

Even the refs have admitted to screwing up on the superbowl with the steelers. The hawks should have had that game. But i would like to see one where they WIN it without all th B.S.

Hat's off to the Hawks. They played their best game of the year by far, and did it when it counted.
Was a poor performance from the Saints, they got beat flat out. I hated to see us play poorly and lose. But at the end of the day I wish you all the best of luck moving further.

It is going to be a fun day at work monday seeing all of the Louisiana transplants with their heads down. A lot of them talked a TON of shit about Seattle last week.

I have some friends who moved up here from Lousiana. They went to the game talkin all kinds of trash like there was no point in even playing the game. I cant wait to see them.

The best part of the Lynch run was the stiff arm to Porter. Looked like he just shoved that guy 5 yards backwards!! Damn electric and a fun game for us to watch. Looking forward to tommorrow..... Had one of the guys at work give me 14 points since he was a Saint's fan....... Going to enjoy taking his $20. Next stop, Chicago.

If they get by chicago, seattle will be nuts, and i believe they would have a home game for the division title. That stiff arm was awesome, he had some good blocks but that run was 99% him.
