Updated my old reliable 200 for a 300XC.

Left lake Michigan behind in the rental and drove to Detroit to pick up another half car. At this point, I have more powersports than scopes on rifles.... stopped a half hour outside of the D to visit a Cuz and enjoy the small things

I'll play. 2018 Street Glide, pictured after coming home from a 200ish mile ride, with an important stop before getting back to the house.

It's a sore subject. His heyday was the cb750 and gs1000 era. All the pictures of me as a toddler have bike parts scattered in the background. Mostly old KZ stuff. He didn't have a car when I was young. He rode everywhere and drove mom's car when the weather was bad.

He hung up riding on the street for about 20 years until us kids were self sufficient and out of the house, then went out and started building a street bike the day my little brother graduated from college. At this point I'm certain I'm going to get a really devastating phone call one day. He never smiles like he does when he's on a bike though. He's at peace with it, I'm not.

Lots of chicken strippers in here... catch me in the woods or in the air!

Use to have an R1... saw 168mph one time on the speedo, decided to sell cause I plan on having an open casket at my funeral.

I was off bikes for some time. It was almost all rockets after I learned to ride except for the occasional spin on a bmw. So yrs later I wanted a bike back and slowed down a notch when I bought the r1250r atleast that's what I tell myself. I mean they list it as a touring bike. So its not a crotch rocket🤣

Got these two plus an XR650R with license plate. CR500 is the best high altitude bike I can think of. The KX is fuel injected and runs good as well. Still like to ride but now do to my advanced years I consider dirt bike riding hard fun. That being said, going trail riding Friday.

My mom (RIP) asked me what do I do about other drivers, I told her I have a very generous life insurance policy and I'm as careful as I can be. My dad didn't ride either when us kids were growing up, as soon as my baby sister was out, he had a bike again. We just did about 1500 miles in a week at the beginning of August together in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. It was a fantastic ride. That is some beautiful country up there.

70 triumph I built. I called her the exxon valdez cause she leaked so much oil.

I had to buy one just because I wanted one so bad but could only afford, thankfully, the 600F2 at the time. I probably would have killed myself on the 900RR at that point in time. The 900RR was the final nail in the coffin of my street riding. I could not go slow on that thing. It just wanted to go faster and faster. Was almost gonna sell it for a RC45 but needed a new AC unit for the new house we moved into and the RR was the perfect trade money wise. BTW, I rode that 600F2 from Colorado to Daytona in '93.

Not mine but just like it.

Yes!! I loved these old 90s Honda bikes. I use to have a CBR F3 but recently sold it. I posted pics of it awhile back.

Probably one of the dumbest times to buy a bike but I'll be bringing my first ducati home in 2 weeks. Was almost going to let it go when the wife convinced me to get it... wife is always right so here we are!

2012 1199 panigale base model. For the price all the used jap bikes are going for I figured a ducati would hold its value beyond this high price time were in.

I was 50 when I ordered a Road King in Iraq and had it waiting when I got home. Hadn’t ridden since I joined the Air Force at 17.

Rode the Harley to Sturgis and put 10K miles on it before it just became too heavy for me with a replacement hip (accident while deployed).

Now I have a 2017 Honda Africa Twin that I’ve ridden from Eastern WA to Vegas and back, on road and off road and just about everywhere.

Second picture is the wife’s 2016 AT, which she got after years on a GSXR.

Took a bit to get used to the dual clutch transmission (automatic transmission), but I really like it now.

Is that a Cayman?

Crap! I’ve been missing out on a cool thread. Just this one page has me thinking about bikes I should never have sold. Love that 900RR above. I had one in the same color scheme with the yellow accents and purple. Awesome bike! 1994 model if I’m not mistaken.

Now spending a lot of time on an Africa Twin with the DCT (dual clutch transmission). Took on for a test drive and tried to hate it but like the new dual clutches in cars it works better than I can shift. Would love to see the DCT on a CBR1000.

Attached is a picture of my oldest on my bucket list bike. Bimota Tesi with the last iteration of my favorite motor the 2 valve Ducati oil cooled. Spent lots of track time on a 900ss Ducati and this bike has the final evolution of that motor at nearly 1100cc of 2 valve goodness. Will likely have it out at COTA for a track day later this year.

Nice bikes Sako man and Texascbr! My 2006 MV F4 1000s and Paul Smart LE were in for regular service a few weeks back Which created a hole in the line up. I was detailing some wheels on one of the cars and noticed this view. These three bikes span 44 years. 1975 to 2019.
