Local Austin news says "she" had as history of being red-flagged since 2006.

It appears that she is a she, born a she, and remains a she. The critically injured seven year old is her naturally born son.
She is a petty criminal with several arrests.
She also has many aliases, according to the police. One of them is a male name. There is no evidence, however, that she ever was transgender, that she ever tried to live as a male, or that she was ever anything but female. I perused her Flickr account, and she writes as a "she" and from the perspective of a woman. One of her other social media accounts is now taken down, but it was up most of yesterday, and all of the writing there was as a woman.
It appears that Gateway Pundit saw the list of aliases and saw a male name (Jeffrey) and just ran with it, and so did the rest of the internet.
The false names are probably related to various little criminal scams of one form or another. She has previous arrests for forgery and theft.
The Hood News lady interviewed neighbors, all of whom described her as a woman and a mother, a very bad mother who treated her son terribly, but there was nothing from anybody who was familiar with her about transgenderism or anything like that.

Reminds me of the blond aggie woman who is in labor in the hospital. After some time, the baby is born and the doctor says, "Congratulations! It's a healthy baby girl!"

Yeah, it's pretty f'd up. I've seen parents in my generation do some pretty f'd up stuff, exposing their kids to things that kids shouldn't see.
The kids quickly reach an age where they're their parent's peers or become the adult in the relationship.

Those allegations are in the context of a bitter divorce dispute, so perhaps they should be taken with a grain of salt, but the ex states she threatened him with the gun multiple times and the allegations of a diagnosis of schizophrenia probably would not be made to a court with no basis in fact.

What is not getting much attention, maybe because of the "transgender" angle along with the "illegal alien" angle (I haven't seen any evidence that she was illegally residing in this country), is that this is another person who was off her rocker and untreated.

You can't tell when the media is trying to downplay a narrative that they find embarrassing.
It could be a mental disorder, IMO. Transgenderism is also homophobia. Those people don't want to be called gay, pure and simple. You can call them anything in the book as long as you don't just "misgender" them. Because gay relies on gender. A gay person is attracted to people of his or her own gender.
Yeah, the mental health crisis is otherwise known as liberalism.
