What will happen if I continue to neck size my brass with my lee collet neck sizing die and not bump the shoulder back with my FL sizing die. My twice fired brass will still chamber smoothly but will I eventually experience a sticky bolt if I don't bump the shoulder back in the future?
Don't be to rough on the newbie.

Re: Shoulder length

After several firings of neck sizing only, you'll notice the bolt closes a bit stiff. It will probably continue to get stiffer and stiffer until you decide you need to bump the shoulder, or you gall the locking lugs of your action...or both.

Re: Shoulder length

Thanks Turbo,
So that means that I'm ok neck sizing for a few firings but I'm going to need to bump the shoulder back eventually to keep the brass from growing too much. Thanks again.
