Yep, 11:30pm Sunday night. Heard screeching and then a bang. Ran outside with flashlight and saw part of their fence down...didn't see the car, until I realized it was partially through the side of neighbors garage wall. Driver was ok, definitely in shock. Just kept saying he was sorry and his gas pedal got stuck. When checking out the car a neighbor and myself smelled natural gas so I ran to tell the owner inside to get everyone out. Fire dept, police, and gas company all here.
Now they are waiting for someone to come dig up the road so they can shut the gas off to the house. Then they can pull the car out. Did I mention the tire is on the gas line, which is slowing the escaping gas?
Crazy shit I tell you!
They think there is structural damage too. Don't think the kid was drinking, at least I didn't smell it on him, and the cops did perform a field sobriety test.
Gonna be a long night!
Since the pic was taken there are around 6 or 7 fire trucks, more police, and an ambulance or two.
