I agree with everything you said. I also don't believe a Doctor would ever talk to anyone else about the details of this and would it not be a forensic pathologist or coroner removing the projectile?

At 150 yards, a 30-06 is plenty powerful to go right through on a direct line impact at the neck, but maybe the downward angle due to the elevated position caused the bullet to travel through more tissue to slow it down and if anyone did talk, maybe the bullet was recovered closer to the skin in his back and something lost in translation.

Regardless, I hope they make the autopsy report public information, I think we should all know how catastrophic this was to Charlie, after all practically everyone has seen the video of the impact.

I’ve heard doctors tell some intricate details to people who are close to the victim. Sometimes they won’t tell even the things they should tell. So you never know.

As far as who removes the bullet? I haven’t any clue. But would imagine it varies from hospital to hospital and state to state.

I also did ponder the same thing a few pages back, if the slight downward trajectory combined with slight curve of the spine, caused the bullet to track downward.

I agree that hopefully we get more solid details and facts.

I knew a guy who got shot with a deer rifle in the neck and it came out his waist/hip area. Bullets so weird shit
