Someone murdered Charlie Kirk

I've thought a lot about all this over this week and don't like what I see.

How dare I come in here and harsh the buzz? Well this is how I see it. I don't think any sane person wants more violence. The problem I see is, whether we want it or not violence is coming (Aka large portions of our country are in fact no longer sane). If you look at the absolute unhinged reactions and inability to even just "shut up and say nothing" for large sections of the left--there is no exit ramp. The avalanche has started and there is no winning, only surviving. Sure it may take a while, but it will just keep going back and forth until one side eliminates the other.

I think the real question is after this is over, IF we survive how do we prevent this from happening again.

WE have collectively failed. America 1.0 is going down the drain. How do we make version 2 idiot proof again? I don't have answers so I leave it to you tin foil hat nuts about women voting, jews, etc. But we went wrong somewhere and it got away from us. I don't think we're getting it back. SO the question is those who remain, how to we rebuild it right?

Sorry to be all doom and gloom--I often say I fear the right wing crazies as much as the left wing crazies. I don't suffer from that problem anymore. I don't think the rip is repairable between right and left right now.

Never underestimate the republicans ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory........🙄
Their investment portfolios will drive their instinct to pounce on such a slow ball that was just thrown their way.

A lot of the ones who play a good game of genuine conservative or patriot make Warren Buffett’s earning ratio look like amateur hour.

They may feel some sense of genuine loss or disgust over Charlie’s murder, but they won’t hesitate to cash-in on such a political crisis, you can bet on that.

Interesting, I wonder why the DA read it aloud the way he did then. I do think it was written to cover Twigg, but I am really starting doubt it was these two who wrote it.

Perhaps may be something in who one or both are related to and some closing of the ranks to minimize damage or more public embarrassment?

ETA:
The X post with the transcription and the video at the bottom so people don't have to go hunt for it.

Hey would anyone like to discuss college football with me in this thread? Or maybe tig welding?
No

I haven’t been thinking about any of this in partisan terms, but if the Democrat party wasn’t already doomed headed into 2026, they’re especially screwed now. The amount of reasonable people who still were planning on voting Democrat, after witnessing lunatics and demons around them celebrating Charlie’s murder, want nothing to do with it now.

The deranged leftist base is happy and will go into the mid-terms full court press, but their numbers will be far less and Dem candidates are wetting their fingers daily seeing how the winds are blowing.

All House Dems and the ones in the Senate ramping up for 2026 basically have to reevaluate their ground game, messaging, and campaign strategies to navigate a new set of waters, where the headwinds are not in their favor.

Never underestimate the republicans ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory........🙄

Damn, @Threadcutter308 beat me to it, and with the exact same words.

Hey would anyone like to discuss college football with me in this thread? Or maybe tig welding?
Sure! Let’s break this down into two separate topics: college football and TIG welding.

College Football

College football is a hugely popular sport in the U.S. and is a key part of the American sports culture. Here are some key points about it:

  1. The Structure: College football is played by teams representing universities and colleges, typically in the fall. The teams compete in various conferences, like the Southeastern Conference (SEC), Big Ten, Pac-12, and others.
  2. NCAA: The governing body for college sports in the U.S. is the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association). College football is divided into different divisions (FBS, FCS, etc.), with the highest level being FBS (Football Bowl Subdivision), which is where the top teams play.
  3. Bowl Games & Playoffs: At the end of the season, the best teams compete in bowl games (e.g., Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl), and now the top four teams compete in a College Football Playoff to determine the national champion.
  4. Notable Programs: Schools like Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Clemson are known for their elite football programs, with passionate fanbases.
  5. Player Development: College football serves as a feeder system to the NFL (National Football League). Many top players use college football as a stepping stone to professional careers.
  6. Game Atmosphere: College football games often have a unique energy, with large stadiums, marching bands, cheerleaders, and tailgating parties. School pride is a huge factor, and rivalries (like Michigan vs. Ohio State or Alabama vs. Auburn) make for some of the most intense games.

TIG Welding (Tungsten Inert Gas Welding)

TIG welding is a method of welding that is commonly used for precise and high-quality welds. It's known for producing strong, clean, and aesthetically pleasing welds. Here's a quick rundown:

  1. The Process:
    • Tungsten Electrode: In TIG welding, a non-consumable tungsten electrode is used to create the arc that melts the base material.
    • Inert Gas Shielding: The weld area is shielded by an inert gas, usually argon or helium, to protect the molten metal from contamination by the atmosphere (especially oxygen).
    • Filler Rod: In some cases, a filler rod is used to add material to the weld, but the welder can also weld without filler, relying on the base material to form the weld.
  2. Precision: TIG welding is ideal for materials that require precision, like stainless steel, aluminum, and thin metals. It’s used in industries like aerospace, automotive, and even art.
  3. Pros:
    • Produces high-quality, clean, and aesthetically pleasing welds.
    • The welder has great control over the heat and filler material.
    • Works well on a wide range of materials, from thin sheets to thick metals.
  4. Cons:
    • Requires more skill and experience than some other welding techniques like MIG welding.
    • It's slower, as it requires careful attention and multiple steps.
  5. Applications: Commonly used in situations where a high-quality finish is needed. This includes welding pipes, stainless steel fabrication, automotive repairs, and even high-end art projects.
  6. Learning Curve: It takes time to get good at TIG welding, as it demands a steady hand and precision. However, for those who master it, it offers incredible versatility and high-quality results.

Comparison

  • Involvement: College football involves teams, players, coaches, and fans working together to win games and championships, while TIG welding is more individualistic—it's about mastering a skill and creating precise, strong welds.
  • Skill & Practice: Both require skill and practice. Football players need teamwork and physical strength, while TIG welders need focus, patience, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Impact: College football impacts communities and universities through pride, entertainment, and sometimes financial support. TIG welding, on the other hand, plays a critical role in industries that require strong, reliable, and clean welds, like manufacturing and construction.
Are you more interested in one of these than the other? Or maybe you're curious about how they could be connected in a project or hobby?

I get the impression you don't believe Trump is going to make America great again, stop foreign wars, conduct mass deportations, or arrest a single person who sexually violated God's children in the biggest pedophile blackmail scheme the world has ever seen?

PS: Stockpile water, also, almost equally as important (though ammo begets water, but I digress).

just a point here. these people were perfectly within their rights to spread their obscene statements. that is what 1A is about freedom of speech, all speech. Musk also had a perfect right to fire them. he is a private citizen running a private company not the gov. all 10 amendments apply to gov action. that's why i think most civil rights legislation is unconstitutional. eg if you don't want to serve blacks in your restaurant, you shouldn't be forced to. you might not succeed in biz but should be your choice but you are not the gov.

My thoughts on the way the texts read, many of y'alls are like "people don't talk like that"....correct, normal people don't. Neither of those two, were normal. You had a gender bender troony toon, and you had a leftist hate filled gay man. I'm betting he turned to the troony toon due to his inability to attract any women. Think about the time frame of this kids life. 22 years old, so since he was 12 years old, educators, public figures, and social media personalities have been saying Trump bad, he's going to kill us, the world's going to end, he's a fascist, ect. Imagine your most influential years are just full of that. I'd bet he's functionally a genius, high IQ, but several factors led him to be influenced hard by the wrong people. Inability to attract a female relationship, or perhaps he had one that went south in a dramatic way. He won't text in a way we would expect a 22 year old to text, because he's not a normal 22 year old.

I wonder how many more are just like him. If he had just a little more critical thinking, a little more understanding of what this does to his life and didn't do that that day, how much longer before someone else tried it. You can apply the slimmest of odds in a nation of 340 million, and I bet there's at least a few hundred that are right there, just haven't tipped over to the point where they're committing a murder. What is it that tips those scales though, what compels a person to murder.

They keep mentioning that the boyfriend was cooperating....of course, i'm sure he was facing a laundry list of charges himself. Probly confronted with the possibility of being a co-conspirator, and obstruction, kids gonna sing like a bird and give them everything they want to ensure that Tyler gets put away.

1. Musk didn't fire anybody over this.

2. Race is a PROTECTED CLASS under the law. Political affiliation and/or beliefs are not. Businesses are free to deny service to people who are democrat, or republican, or libertarian, or for liking Charlie Kirk or for hating Bernie Sanders and anything in between. Businesses are NOT free to deny service based on race.

You are advocating that businesses should be free to discriminate based on race?

You know how right before the evil villain tries to kill Batman or maybe James Bond (in some overly elaborate fashion), he'll reveal all the details of his sinister plot? That's what that text transcript reminded me of.

I'm trying not to get caught or leave any clues, but I'm going to type out step by step everything I've done.
Sounds more like a cover story for the boyfriend at the least, other coconspirators at worst.

I read the texts and my first thought was , They must think we are all retarded if they think we are going to buy that.
Don't forget when the FBI got there the trans was all surprised again that his boyfriend did it... Even though he already knew from the texts.
WE have collectively failed. America 1.0 is going down the drain. How do we make version 2 idiot proof again?
Federal government WAY too big and powerful. Was never meant to be. Insane taxes and power/corruption.

I've seen postings from the left trying to basically compare CK to Hitler to convince people it was a just killing. For some reason, they also bring up the right wing prolifer that killed a Minnesota Democrat and her husband last year. Like that make it even or something.

There is one that used to be employed by Tesla. I don't know the details around when their employment ended or why.

Leftist tripe... This is what they believe!!!

The Trump Justice Department recently deleted a long-standing study from its site showing that right-wing violence “continues to outpace all other types of terrorism and domestic violent extremism” in the United States. This wasn’t just an outdated statistic; it was a 2024 analysis from the National Institute of Justice that cited decades of data indicating far-right extremists have been responsible for the majority of ideologically driven homicides, with 520 deaths compared to under 100 from the left since 1990.

This isn’t just a one-off finding—it’s echoed by study after study on the real-world sources of online violence and radicalization. The research is clear: most extremist violence, including attacks inspired and organized via digital platforms, comes from the right. From live-streamed hate crimes to echo chambers promoting violence, online recruitment and misinformation have visibly fueled white nationalist and far-right movements.

Now, after the tragic murder of Charlie Kirk, the administration is using the incident to rewrite history and point fingers at the left, blatantly ignoring mountains of evidence and deleting their own agency’s work. It’s absurd to watch those responsible for the rise in violence scramble to shift blame, cherry-selecting facts and weaponizing tragedy instead of accepting inconvenient truths.

Well, I heard that Mark Wahlberg was asked to provide pre-event security analysis for the TPUSA event but he declined.

See, I can make unsubstantiated claims, too.

Has anyone identified anything about the rifle beyond being some kind of Mauser? Looks like a cheap capped turret Vortex of some kind, mounted way back so the bolt clears the diopter housing.
“ Cheap capped turret Vortex “ can easily handle the distance of the shot that killed Charlie. Had one and was able to shoot those distances no problem.

LOL! As an aside , I wonder if Mark W. became a reasonably proficient rifle marksman through his preparations for Shooter. Think I’ll look that up.
Edit: Looked it up. Indeed, he’s a very good rifle shot, surprised his sniper instructors with his skills. Underwent intense sniper training for Shooter.

Thats a Tricky question, Should a business be able to refuse to make a gay wedding cake for a gay wedding?

Yes. Sexual preferences are not a protected class (or were not at the time of the "Masterpiece Bakery" incident). Race always has been and will be.

Do I agree with refusing a customer based on race ? No. Do I believe that businesses are free to serve who they want? Yes

As long as they don't discriminate based on a "Protected Class" (which, of course, Race is one of them).

Certain races are certainly protected. Some are most definitely not. They didnt seem to have any issues refusing job opportunities, scholarships et. to straight white males due to their whiteness.

Well maybe that’s why the left says “white” is not a race. So they don’t have to protect it.
