At least half of our problem is divided between our own right of center people being stupid and the left manufacturing outlandish events or statements that are crafted to appear as if they come from us.

Maybe try to remain aware but not paranoid to the point of not living our lives.
We need to be careful about designating a person or group as the enemy if their views do not perfectly align with our own.
There will be a HUGE middle group that we should look at as opportunities to enlighten and show an open door to by our own examples. We can either consolidate our side with like minded allies or we can tag them as the enemy which would be a self fulfilling prophesy when they have no other path but the Dark one.
