Hey folks. Army 11B vet here introducing myself. I started as an SDM running the M14 EBR in Afghanistan and ended as an E5 Team Leader in a light infantry platoon. Got out of the rifle game for 7ish years and focused on my civi career and self-defense pistol (still love me some room clearing!).
Over the last year I've had a pretty tough time and found a root cause is that my brain has gone stagnant compared to what I've been used to. As such, thought getting back into ballistics and elr shooting would be exactly what I needed. I've always been a very good shot (never shot under 39/40 rifle qual) and learn quickly so I feel really good about jumping back in.
Currently, I'm running a graciously-borrowed Tikka T3X until I can find a good deal on a Howa Bravo 6.5CM.
Looking forward to interacting with like-minded folks and once I get geared up, I plan on getting Ohio together for some friendly outings!
