get the muzzleloader dialed in... this was impressive... first time i have actually put some time into getting to know her and she impressed the heck out of me.... bore butter swabbed after every single shot
250 grain shockwave 50 cal sabot
150 grain pyrodex
TC Omega
Nikon Omega BDC 250 Scope
209 Shotgun primers
28 inch stainless barrel

best three shot group of the day at just a tad over 100 yards..... and i could have done better had i been using a bit steadier rest but still MOA out of a muzzleloader is pretty awesome...
my 1 inch group

Many rounds accross the chronograph with this load produced these impressive results
AV: 1154 FPS
SD: 9
ES:15

In case anybody doesnt know what those numbers mean, those results rival the consistancy of even the best match ammunition you can buy, and it takes a somewhat experienced reloader to get those results.... all i did was put some stuff in the barrel and shove a rod down it.

BRING ON THE DEER!!!

Either you typed the velocity wrong or your chronograph is not reading out correctly. The load you list will give you 2000 fps+ easily. Mine will drive a 325gr FTX to 1950fps with a similar charge.

They are fine guns, I shot a 8-inch group (4 shots) at 500 yards with the above load (40MOA drop I think), the 100 yard groups are so nice I rarely both shooting them anymore.
