I have a few 10-22 builds that I have been working on/planning.
I put a Volquartsen stainless THM Tension barrel on a stainless factory receiver with a custom Rimfire Technologies trigger assembly on a Raptor laminated stock. I custom bedded it and it is solid as a rock.
Now I have a Tactical Solutions X-Ring receiver in silver and TacSol trigger assembly in black. X-Ring barrels are impossible to find right now (the threaded barrels anyway) so I was thinking of using the TacSol parts with the Volquartsen barrel. Is there any reason that the Volquartsen barrel (stainless steel) should not be used with the TacSol receiver?
I think that the Volquartsen is probably a better barrel, but who knows.
