Salt Lake cop gets attacked by a suspect while trying to detain him at the airport, TSA lump of shit stands there and does not do a damned thing. Other travelers stepped in to help the cop and at the very end, TSA loser makes like he was helping.

If nothing else, the tweeker fucker could have gotten away and ran into the terminal. Then every person in the damned airport would have to go stand in the parking lot while the TSA tards search the entire airport for open snacks and pocket change, thus delaying hundreds, if not thousands of travelers and requiring him and his dirtbag co-workers to repeat their searches of those travelers.

Why haven't these idiots been replaced by private security that can be held to a higher standard of quality, now that is a mystery.

Airport security used to be hired by the airport / airlines / city etc.
Then it got taken over by the Federal government under the TSA

Good luck ever getting back local control.

The TSA exists to provide the illusion of security by beating up, strip searching and being asses to people they know unlikely to be a threat.

That is why they are the lowest denominator, they are not trained, usually dumb as fuck (who else would take that job?), and have no real definition of what they should, or should not, do.

Why hasn't this useless agency been abolished because they do nothing but harass and restrict passengers while accomplishing nothing to increase security. turn back the clock to pre 9-11 days, use the lessons learned and implement them in a reasonable and practical manner.
