Hey fellas, we just came out with a "big screen" TargetCam model. Since coming out with it just 3 weeks ago, this new Big Screen unit has quickly become our best seller. This unit uses a 10.5" screen vs our standard unit that has a 7". It is built into the larger Pelican Storm iM2300 case which allows you to put up to 4 cameras in it for packing multiple camera/target setups to the field. A lot of our customers get 1 or 2 cameras so this bigger case gives you a lot of room for other stuff like ammo, ear protection, kestrel....the big screen unit is available in the Sniper's Hide store link at the top of the page or click here:
Target Cam®? The ?High Tech? Spotting Scope
Here are a few pics we took of both units this past weekend.
Our standard unit next to the new "Big Screen"
Go big...or go home:
Our standard unit is built into a Pelican Storm iM2100. The big dog is built in a Pelican Storm iM2300. You can google these cases to find the dimensions of each. These cases are tuff, waterproof, beautiful....and chicks dig them.
Big screen with 3 cameras, ear protection, ammo. When you have a couple of cameras it's really nice to have the extra space for other gear - packed away dry and safe. The big screen unit will actually hold up to 4 cameras inside. Multiple cameras for placing them on multiple targets downrange, each camera is set on it's own channel, toggle to view each location...once you get used to using this system you'll never go back.
Of course, there's nothing wrong with our standard unit - 7" screen, can hold 1-2 cameras. Not as much storage room but it also doesn't take up as much room on a shooting bench.
Big Screen unit with auxiliary antenna and camera:
The typical camera, antenna, target setup for long range target viewing. The camera is a safe 20 feet from the target on a small tripod, the auxiliary antenna is mounted next to it on a full size tripod. This is the setup for long-extreme long range. With the auxiliary antenna attached the system is capable of clearly displaying shots on target at over 3000 yards away.
TargetCam has been a sponsor of the Sniper's Hide cup the last 2 years. Here is a shot of our system in use this last summer for scoring hits at the target out at 1150 yards. It wouldn't have been possible to score this stage without the use of our system.
If you have any questions about these high performance spotting systems that we build please don't hesitate to call me directly. The link in the Sniper's hide cart is the best way to buy them and some of your purchase also goes to support this great site.
Target Cam®? The ?High Tech? Spotting Scope
If a bunch of you guys want to go together and do a "group buy" for our units we could work a very good deal for Hide members.
